CID International Opens a Branch in Goma

CID International inaugurated its new branch in Goma on December 15, 2025, marking an important milestone in its territorial expansion strategy. This establishment in eastern DRC responds to growing demand from North Kivu youth to access the organization's training and support programs.

The Goma branch will have a permanent team of five people and a training space that can accommodate up to fifty participants. The Discovery and Challenge programs will be the first to be deployed in the region, with a target of five hundred beneficiaries in the first year.

CEO Patrick Mukendi emphasized the importance of this opening in a context where young people in the east of the country urgently need personal and professional development opportunities. Partnerships with local universities and humanitarian organizations in the region are already being finalized.
