New Partnership with GIZ for Capacity Building
CID International and GIZ (German Development Cooperation) have signed a strategic partnership agreement to strengthen the capacities of young leaders in four DRC provinces: Kinshasa, Haut-Katanga, North Kivu, and South Kivu. This two-year partnership will mobilize financial and technical resources to train an additional eight hundred young people.
The joint program will build on CID International's proven methodology while integrating GIZ's expertise in local governance and sustainable development. Specific training modules will be developed on active citizenship, conflict management, and local economic development.
This partnership illustrates the growing recognition of CID International's work by international development actors. It paves the way for new collaborations with other bilateral and multilateral organizations present in the DRC.
